PBEC, founded in 1967, is a membership organisation of CEOs and Business Leaders with a footprint that includes the 21 economies of APEC. PBEC remains the independent voice of sustainable business and trade in Asia Pacific.
Ms Biber was previously the Chief Executive of AustCham HK & Macau; and was previously a Board Member. She was a key player in the formation of the AustCham Greater China initiative and the development of Australian Business Asia, a group of business organisations across Asia. She was the Chairman of the Judging Panel in the 2016 and 2018 AustCham Westpac Australia-China Business Awards.
After leaving the Chamber, she was the Country Manager HK for the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) MBA Program as part of her portfolio of activities.
Ms Biber has enjoyed a stellar career in all forms of the communications business – Integrated Marketing, Public Affairs, Media Relations and Digital Communications both in Hong Kong, across Asia, the UK and Europe and Australia.
Ms Biber holds a number of Director and Advisory roles including Chairman of the Entrepreneurs Club HK; the Advisory Council of the HK ASEAN Foundation; Founder Board Member of the HK Chapter of the Australian Rugby Foundation and a Task Force Member (Digital Economy) of the UN ESCAP Sustainable Business Network. Ms Biber sits on the Digital Economy Task Force of the B20. She was recently appointed to the Executive Committee of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia Pacific Sustainable Business Network and is committed to SDG#17.
